Big Fat Sun

Inspired by Pink Floyd, Big Fat Sun is a minimal interpretation of the rising sun. Lines melted into the Perspex plate with a smouldering iron create a bold oval form, with bright yellow playing against the white of the paper. Strong horizontal lines give the image structure, energy and a clear graphic presence.
