Night Windows

Inspired by the lines from Owen Sheers’ poem “Night Windows”:

“As with a sigh you rose from me
and walked into the lit hallway,
trailing the dress of your shadow behind you.”

The woman steps into a warm orange light, while the man gazes thoughtfully through the window into the night. Light and shadow give the scene its poetic atmosphere, capturing a quiet and intimate moment filled with warmth, mystery and contemplation.
